I have taught Maths and ICT for over 25 years in 6 different schools in both England and Wales. I have been a Cross Curricular ICT coordinator (5 years) in one school and a Head of Maths in two other schools (4 and 10 years). During that time I have developed numerous resources to teach Maths and ICT particularly using EXCEL and VBA.
The resources in the shop are all written using EXCEL. I would welcome any feedback / suggestions that would make the resources better.

Class Context Analysis Sheets in EXCEL
There are 6 EXCEL sheets that provide a quick summary breakdown of a class. One is for KS3 classes, one for KS4 GCSE classes, one for KS4 BTEC Classes and three for performance management summary data sheets.
Simply:
• Export the data from a SIMS marksheet.
• Paste the data into the Data Dump sheet
• Your class analysis is displayed ready for printing / copy and pasting.
This is useful for lesson observations when you want to provide a context for the person observing but don’t want to spend an hour making your summary data sheet ‘just so’!
The resources are written using EXCEL 2013 and include VBA code to randomise questions and include countdown timers. Worksheets are formatted for printing on a single sheet of A4.
You will need to enable the macros for the resource to work properly.

These are tracking sheets that provide instant departmental analysis for 3 interim assessment points across the year. There is a summary sheet and details class breakdown analysis in all the standard areas – Male, Female, FSM, Non-FSM, LAC, Non-LAC, MAT, Non-MAT, SEN, Non-SEN as well as progress against targets etc.
There is also a helpsheet detailing areas to focus on for training people to read the data sheets.
Simply:

• Paste the data into the Class 1 Data Dump, Class 2 data dump…Whole school Data Dump sheets
• Your analysis is displayed ready for printing / copy and pasting.
This is useful for departmental tracking and monitoring as SLT looking at departments of departments checking / reporting to SLT.
The resources are written using EXCEL 2013 and include VBA code to perform the analysis. Worksheets are formatted for printing on a single sheet of A4 / A3.
You will need to enable the macros for the resource to work properly.
Class analysis sheet and Learning Checklist maker
This is a single Excel sheet to take data from a SIMS system and produce a class summary. It also has an assessment strengths and weaknesses maker. Input data from an assessment and a summary of the questions at the top and you get a class average sheet for each question and individual RAG rated checklists:
• Data drop sheet
• A class summary one page ‘dashboard’
• An assessment data entry sheet
• A ranked class summary sheet of the results of the assessment
• 37 (for those of you with big classes) individual RAG Rated review sheets
The resources are written using EXCEL 2013 and include VBA code to randomise questions and include countdown timers. Worksheets are formatted for printing on a single sheet of A4.
